The Wigry Section works with children and young people. We organise, above all, annual hiking and kayaking camps on Lake Wigry, as well as meetings throughout the year.

Our permanent base is Cimochowizna - a charming village in the Podlaskie region.

During the camps, we organise  various night races, large outdoor games, team games and activities. We also gather together around the campfire, singing and playing guitars. Camp life naturally also revolves around various practical tasks, such as collecting firewood, digging drainage trenches around the tents, maintaining camp equipment and facilities, cleaning, carrying out  minor repairs and duty shifts during which participants prepare the meals.

The Wigry Section camps have a strong formative character. Each day includes time for communal morning and evening prayer, grace before meals, and attendance at Sunday Mass, either on the campsite or at a nearby monastery. This also means living according to certain principles — in particular, treating others with respect, refraining from alcohol and smoking, and not allowing the use of any other substances.
