Support us

The Club’s activities are based on two complementary strands:

We carry out professional social, civic and humanitarian projects. These initiatives cover a wide range of areas: from supporting people with experience of migration and displacement, to humanitarian aid, to co-creating support groups for those harmed within the Church. Our projects are based on careful analysis of real needs and the work of experts, and are often carried out  in cooperation with other organisations and civil society initiatives. At present, we focus on long-term projects and areas in which we have many years of experience.

The strength of KIK also lies in grassroots initiatives created by Club members and those closely connected with it. We  refer to these as  “sections”, although this term does not always appear in their official names. Over the 70 years of the Club’s existence, hundreds of such sections have operated, focusing on areas  such as faith, family, history and science. They have been – and continue to be – a living reflection of the interests and commitment of KIK members. The current grassroots sections include: the Family Section, the Wigry Section, Gość w Dom (“A Guest in the Home”), Thursday Suppers, the Eastern European Section, the Santa Maria Sailing Club, and Drum Bun.

What we do

For 70 years, we have been active in places where important matters are at stake: we supported interfaith dialogue, the development of the Solidarity movement, worked for human rights and European integration.

Today we continue this work through projects that support the spiritual, social and civic growth of our diverse community.
